Our School Council represents the views of all our pupils. It gives children the opportunity to make their voices heard and feel part of the whole school community.
Our Tame Valley Academy School Councillors for 2016 – 2017 are:
Year 6 – Leah and Lily
Year 5 – Phoebe and Alan
Year 4 – Eddy and Tianna
Year 3 – Abdelhadi and Ava-Mae
Year 2 – David and Weya
Year 1 – Kayla and Alvis
They were democratically elected by their classmates during elections which were held on 16th September 2016.
How it Works
Our School Council meet every fortnight to discuss ways to improve our school. We have a different agenda for each meeting, which is set two weeks in advance. This gives the councillors time to discuss the issues with their classes before the meeting. They bring their notes and feedback from their classes to the School Council. Councillors then work together to decide on actions which will improve the school and make it a better place for all.
